We're just now having our first sunny day in over a week here. We had a deliciously warm and sunny April, and May has been a cold bitch. But by the time the show comes around, the weather should be wonderful, although as JoMama says, nights will remain cool for a while. Bring your Pendletons!

My very quick look at my MN plat map shows no fewer than 5 identified campgrounds within five miles of Wabasha, and that's just on the MN side. Very easy.

Here we're talking about the ridiculousness of spending over $100 on a concert ticket in another thread, and people don't bat an eye at spending over $100 to rent a room to sleep in for 8-10 hours? Color me confused.

I live about an hour away from Wabasha, otherwise I'd gladly offer my couches and/or air mattress to any out of towners for the night for the price of conversation. Hell, I'd even cook breakfast for you.
You cook?! I guess the whole hotel thing seems resonable to me...I spent much more on rooms when travelling...then again to places like Chicago, LA and London. I'm pretty much driving up there and driving back to Des Moines after the show. Color me crazy!!!!

Yes. Contrary to popular belief, many men are quite good at cooking.

I'm functional, at best. My repertoire is narrow and shallow, but everything I do is edible.

Plus, who can screw up breakfast? You hardly have to cook any of that, unless you want to bake your own muffins. Eggs, toast, fruits, yogurt, cereal, maybe some bacon, coffee...what's to screw up?

Me. When I was living at home I fancied some boiled eggs, forgot I had them on and boiled the pan dry - the eggs were black and cracked. As for the smell? Revolting. So my mother had to go buy a new pan to replace that one with - and the next weekend i went and did the exact same thing again. Doh.
