If his new album is any indication, then yes.

I wish he had a few more "rocking" style tunes on this one, but I am nitpicking.

Really annoying. Impossible to get tickets. Now the choice is, do I drop $70-$80 per ticket for last row balcony seats on StubHub?

I'd say no, but that's just me: content to stand outside the venue and buy once the show has started for the blowout price...

My advice on sold out shows is always the same: Go to the venue a couple of hours before showtime and make sure everyone in line knows you're looking for a ticket. You're pretty much guaranteed to get one - if not two - for at or near face value. Have cash in hand.

I've never been left out of a "sold out" show with that method, although I admit I've only tried it a few times (and yes, JoMama, I know you got outbid for Neil Young that one time...but someone else always has a ticket). Since we're talking about Ryan Adams and his aforementioned douchebag hipster fan quotient, you can rest assured, theweekend, that some gaggle of cool kids will have a vitally important kickball game to attend instead, and your tickets will magically appear.

My wife and I surprised each other with tix to his Carnegie show...

I don't even have the guts to write how much we sold the extra pair for on Stubhub...

I do know that the person who bought them lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan...

It's my own personal "Occupy Wall Street" moment...

Man, I'd always heard generic stories of what a douchebag Ryan Adams is, but this one is painful. I mean it's one thing to shit on your adulating fans or act like a prima donna on stage, but it's quite another to disrespect a fellow musician *in front of* all your fans. What a classless, self-absorbed asshole.

And may I take this opportunity to thank The Jayhawks for refusing (so far as we know, anyway) to participate actively in this forum. Here is why you see that is the worst idea on the planet. Of course here, *we* are the unbalanced ones, and not the band members. Still...fraught with difficulties. Landmines and vultures everywhere!

The internet is just a glorified "Being John Malcovich"

How does anyone really know what's going through Ryan's mind when he has these strange behaviors? Maybe he has a real problem that only Andy Partridge understands...

Make no mistake, most Ryan Adams fans that I see on the RA boards are just as unhinged as Ryan, if not more so.

Brown Jenkin; "What a douche."

This line from the former Mr. Pants/Glacier reminds me of a quote from my grandfather.

We were sitting in a car waiting for my grandmother to get out of a store and a 75 year old man walks out of the store. My grandpa says, "look at that old duffer over there." He was 84 at the time.

Another case of the pot calling the kettle black.
