Jeez.... I hate when bands autograph someone's poster and then they go around and try to make a profit by selling it..!

Maybe I'm being harsh though; I guess there are all kinds of circumstances where this could happen.

Yeah, a little heavy of a word, that [hate].
But let me tell you, it's tough for everyone: The celebs like giving autographs when they're for a fan, because they get to witness, face-to-face, the 'core' of their audience (at least the ones who can travel to where they are). But when they're for an eBay-chaser, they just have to 'smile' and sign away...
I had an idea for that: Were I able to discern, I'd have a "commercial"--eBay, etc. version of my signature, and one for those who really wanted a keepsake.
Then I abandoned the idea, because, well, the celeb status took the next bus out of town while I was off getting smokes.

"Really bugs me" is fine, though some of our six- and eight-legged friends may take offense. Until I find any of 'em got lawyers, I also will use that term.

buyer looks like a seller, and didn't bother with the bid price and went 'buy it now'. prolly gonna be re-sold. Too bad, when I re-read the description I thought it was totally rad, frameable, and would make one of them unique gifts... Someone's going to be happy with it, and since its from "Smile", well, the mission is accomplished.

Looks like they have a cool Italian Blues Brothers poster there though...

Might not be a heartless "seller" or someone worth "hating" as J. Carlie put it. Could just be someone who's clearing out their closet. Maybe they are keeping their TTGG signed by the band and framing it, but getting rid of the SMILE one? Making something cool available to other fans. Maybe they keep their MEAN STREETS signed by Scorsese, but they sell their cool, but thrashed BLUES BROTHERS poster. Ya know, a spring cleaning of their closet. Maybe there might even be more JAYHAWKS stuff coming. Just a wild ass guess on my part.

Pay attention Jeff... I changed the "h" word to "bugs me" (no offense to insects everywhere BTW)...

I did say I guess there are circumstances where this could happen (want to sell their stuff)......just nothing I'd ever want to do....

The price was right, perhaps someone will think it just fine for 4 times the price if they are decorating a rec room or something--you know those Jayhawks inspire the best in interior design (or so I've heard).
I wish I would have framed my TTGG poster years ago, the tackholes ended up growing...
