Attn: Torontonians

Did anyone go to the Blue Rodeo and Friends concert on Friday?

The Sadies played Eight Miles High into Diamond Mine and honestly this was one of the greatest live performances I have ever seen. Greg was backup and Jim was on Piano. I desperately need a copy of this. Does anyone have or know how to get this?

I knew about it, but I wasn't able to go (other priorities and the cost of tickets being deciding factors). I'm sorry I wasn't able to go though. It sounds like it was a great evening.

Check this out,

It was the toughest ticket in T.O. in years! I thought I could go to the Blue Rodeo web site and buy my pick of web tickets but apparently the word is out on that scam. I showed up the night of without tickets and scalpers were selling them for $200- 250 a piece. They sold out of their tickets and I was forced to stand outside the doors offering $230 for any pair. Luckily a pair of twenty year old guys jumped on the offer, but unluckily I had to pay that stupid amount b/c it was my wife's request for Valentines day.

It was however worth it b/c of the Sadies and Ron Sexsmith's amazing performances.

Yeah, we missed a stellar lineup.

Here's the bit from Blue Rodeo's events calendar:

Andrew Cash, Oh Susanna, Jim Bryson, Ron Sexsmith, The Sadies, Kathleen Edwards, Molly Johnson, David Ramsden, Ian Blurton, Josh & Andy from The Skydiggers...
