I'd meet up if I had a ticket to a Chicago show, this time I'd get into town early enough to shop some bookstores...

How about the Irish Oak? Friday night for 8 bucks all you can eat fish and chips....just in honor of you Andy, you said you miss them. 4 and a half star rating out of 5 stars. Here's a link: http://www.irishoak.com/

Discovered it on this site....scroll down to "places nearby" and click on restaurants.

We could do both nights....since we all don't get to see each other much anyway it would be nice to have this extra time. Last time we saw some of you was at BBP, summer of '09.

We have to work both days, get home, get ready and drive in from the burbs, so we probably won't be able to make any preshow festvities. See you all there though

It surely has been too long. I saw some Chicagoans at Gary's show this past May. And the BBP seems like decades ago...wow, what a long, strange trip it's been for all of us! That said, can't wait to see you all again and raise a glass to the Jayhawks and the friendships that have endured.

So sounds like Friday for sure - let's stay in touch by phone and see what pans out. There's always Leona's near the venue....it's close and cheap.
