I never ordered anything through Best Buy, as we have about 4 in the greater Des Moines area...they might though...might be well worth it. Then again that doesn't support the little record stores. Hummm might have to think about it.

It is a good interview indeed. I must say I never saw that video for Big Star.

Right, I preordered the Deluxe Edition from Amazon. Now watch a hundred different online companies offer a shit load of exclusive bonus stuff that I won't be able to get!

BestBuy page has been updated as an "Exclusive" version with bonus EP. Still $19.99 and free shipping.

Or, perhaps, Mark hung around to find out that part of the Jayhawks story...

Excellent, that clears up the question I had in the other thread. Best Buy it is for me, then, and amazon (or iTunes) for the downloads.

So, what is on the Best Buy thing that made your mind up then? I don't see any of these that PD mooted in the other thread.

Best Buy bonus CD:

Nine Stitches (live 1990)
Everybody Gets By (radio session 1993)
Boston Maid (RDM demo / Woman's Club version)
Faded Memory (Smile demo)
Desperate Serenade (Woman's Club version)

The Best Buy thing seems to have the exact same tracklisting as the Amazon deal has. WTF is going on?

I don't want to complain but I think A Break In The Clouds should be on this collection. It was a single after all. I just think Karen's piano and backgrounds on this song are so great.

So I was getting my weekend Americano at the the Star$$$$s, and I couldn't help but think that it sure would be nice to pick up a copy of Anthology with my fancy coffee.

Any ideas how these albums make it into their stores?
