They might come to San Diego. It would be interesting to see Mark and Victoria.

Of course, they might not come to San Diego. That would be equally interesting.

I like what little I've heard of them (only samples and the like). It would be interesting to pick up an album or two of theirs. Does anyone know whether they're availiable in stores (the albums, that is---not Mark and Victoria)? IF so, I might buy one or two.

well, you could come over this side. Mark O. and Creekdippers albums December's Child and My Own Jo Ellen and other Creekdippers albums are pretty good to buy here.

But in the States....?

You can find the Creekdippers CDs in local record stores (the small cool ones) and at Best Buy.

This is a "no brainer"
Free Creekdippers show
early evening outside in Loring Park
c'mon it's gonna be a freak show
I'm gonna bring Mrs. Toes and the lil-larva girls to this event, fruity fun for everyone!!!
Cootner you'll have to take some pic's of my kids!! (Dancing and Twirling about)
We'll sign a release or whatever
Vic will probably fawn all over the girls
Mark and I will sneak off to the Gardens for a lil-puffy.
Of course I'll have my "W.T.F. is Glacier 55?" T-Shirt on...
Speaking of T-Shirts Anyone else think the new graphic on the Jayhawks shirts is a little Old 97ish???

I'll definitely take some pics of your twirling kids,
no need to sign a release, unless you really want to... :-)

it'll be nice to shoot some slower film than the 3200
i usually shoot in dark clubs.

Free, Outdoors, In the Park...
like you say- a No Brainer
... i'm glad the creekdippers'll be back in town.

About the t's and Olds

I really got more blitzed than I had planned so I didn't see any of the Jayhawks merchandise. Heard that I missed out on a boot-leg. Actually, the buddy that I rode over to Memphis with bought one so I got to listen to it the next day (late, late afternoon).
SINCE the Old 97's name was mentioned I'd like to make my little opinion of them. Hands down the best live band I've EVER seen.
Rhett Miller is an awesome performer. I've seen them more than any other show. They played at a hole in the wall in Little Rock back in '93. I bought Hitchike To Rhome at the show. I was really lucky to just happen to be there. Wreck Your Life and Too Far To Care are also bad-ass. The other albums are just... great.

Also wishing for the Crekdippers to come here for a third straight year.
