Looks as if Smile is in 2nd place below Prince's Musicology.

Not bad to be in 2nd if that is where they end up

What a great poll!

I'm kind of upset with Star Tribune.com right now to be honest.

Here's my situation. I really like Star Tribune a lot, but I would rather just log into it to read it...I didn't want them clogging up my email box with all kinds of stuff. I'm just trying to stop being so overwhelmed from emails from any organization ya know, so I have been trying to unsubscribe to their emails for literally months now. I get a message that I have unsubscribed, and then they flood me again. I called and left a message for the guy in charge to please stop emailing me and I've gone ignored.

Oh well......I told them that it's nothing personal, I just don't have time for all of these emails!

Tom hit the nail...where is Rainy Day Music? After many years of not reading Rolling Stone I was given a free subscription. I have to say I have enjoyed it but the recent issue with the best albums of the decade came out and there is no Rainy Day Music. I'd have to put RDM up there with the best of all the albums I own. If you'd asked me if the Jayhawks would ever surpass their output during the Gary and Mark days I would have laughed at such a suggestion but It might just be my favorite Jayhawks album and that is amazing. I love Blue Earth and HTH and I also love Smile. When RDM came out I was just blown away. How did these guys come up with such a wonderful album? I have enjoyed many aWilco tune but RDM is better then any Wilco album I own. Thanks to Gary and the guys for what might just be my favorite album of the last 10 years!

A couple of other publications, in magazine or online form, have voted Rainy Day Music into their lists but really if you look closely, most of those lists are populated by quite recent albums or earlier albums that were big hits. Selective memory, I suppose.
