So Long Jill Munroe, You Iconic Fox

Farrah Fawcett was one of a kind to guys from my generation. She was one of the few "older women" that the 13-18 age group of guys really saw as being out of this world attractive and totally cool. That's how I will always remember it anyway.

What a symbol of the 70's she was! By 1977 I think that about 90% of the girls in my high school were trying to copy her hairstyle so that they too could be seen as being just that soooo cool.

This is sad, only 62 years of age too. Yeah, I have to admit, I knew a lot of fellas with the famous swimsuit poster.

I was a big Charlie's Angels fan as a kid, I even had a Jill Munroe doll.
Yeah...that poster of her with her smile...she seemed so fragile and sweet.

I was a tot when Charlie's Angels was on tv...I never had the Jill Munroe doll, but I remember getting the Bionic Woman doll for Christmas when I was three...that was one cool doll...you pull back her skin on her arms and there would be electronic stuff underneath.

Yeah, sad stuff. I think everyone who came up in the 70's either loved the show or just loved watching her.

so long jill munroe

Farrah Fawcett was a wonderful symbol of the 70s and all of my girlfriends and I copied the hairstyle. The coverage of her struggle with cancer really touched me. Rest in peace.
