I actually waited because I wanted to hear what the DVD material was like--if worth the extra bucks. Now, since the DVD material is from a concert somewhere else, I'm not so sure, but actually leaning toward getting it anyway. I was waiting for a vinyl issue...
The evolution of "Heart of Gold" from being a middle-section of "A Man Needs A Maid" is something else, and exists in a special place because it was recorded live before anyone had even heard of the song. Pretty cool.
Neil timed this right, making us wait all these years. It may have been longer, but the aneurysm kind of made him rethink it, since he could never predict how much memory he was going to lose in coming years...

I think the CD and the DVD are amazing. Absolutely fantastic stuff. Ye just can't beat Neil's dry wit in his in-between song patter either.

Almost missed this one Chief...

My husband gave this to me for Easter. Really a lovely remastering. I'm enjoying it so much!

Bump.

I finally got around to this (my son gave me a copy), and I am absolutely stunned. I don't know what took me so long, other than the fact that I'm mad at him for always, always, always skipping Texas when he tours. But, I must say I have fallen in love with Neil Young all over again.

This.record.is.amazing.
