Sports of all sorts thread.

We should keep all the sporting stuff in one place that is easy to find.

Anyway, the Jayhawksfanpage derby was on last night and Joserra's Athletic Bilbao got a nice win against Jony's Malaga. 3-2.

Also, Go Cards just for Warner to win another one.

Also, bong water.

I'd rather the guy who got knocked on the noggin a few times to win instead of the guy who has an extra player protecting him...

Bongwater--great band

Didn't see it. Did Tiger throw another tantrum and start throwing his clubs around in a hissy fit? That's a 4-year old in a man's body that fella. Talk about a petted lip.

I was at the PGA on Friday. I actually did see Tiger throw one of his clubs and have a mini-fit after an ok shot.

I root for Woods every day, but Tiger got his ass kicked yesterday. Well done Korean guy!

Woods kinda threw it away really. The guy who won is 110 in the world or something.

Harrington was a shot behind when I went off to make a sandwich and when I got back he had blown a gasket and ended up +2. Gimp.

That Usain Bolt fella would be handy to have run to the shop for some milk and smokes wouldn't he?

We could very well do it, you never know. Nothing really in it and a bunch of points to be won and lost before it's over.

As long as England and France go down in flames at the World Cup I will be happy!

Today is the final game they're showing on BBC America of the Six Nation Rugby. Scotland vs. England. I think I'm supposed to pull for Scotland?

I've really become quite fascinated by rugby. Long periods of seemingly nothing happening punctuated by bursts of violence - just like American football, but without the armor and helmets, or giant men. Just fascinating. And very exciting. I find myself jumping up and cheering in spite of the fact that I don't really have a dog in this hunt.

Which is probably just like the Scots. Can't see them beating England but you never know. I wish France would lose, the jammy bastards.

Booooooooooooooooooooooooo! Shoulda won that quite handily. nothing pisses me off more than letting the English off the hook at sports. Terrible game though, the scrummaging was amateur hour.

Messi is simply out of this world. Even players after a game with him say so. It looks like if he would be playing "videogame football" while the rest run after him and the ball...

And that third goal by Rivaldo is one of the best I've seen in my whole life

I don't really mind that we got welted. If it wasn't for Messi then we did rather well over two legs and we did score 3 against them after all.

What annoys the shit out of me, and you see this in a lot of Spanish, Portuguese, Latin American football, is the rolling around on the deck having barely been touched and the brandishing the imaginary card to the ref. I tell you, if I was a player and this happened to me I would give the bastard a reason for the card and boot him in the bollocks. I hate, HATE, that shit.

That was definitely true in teh past but, to be fair, we see it all the time now in English, Scottish, French, German games etc. That littke shit Nacho Novo tried it on with Motherwell at Ibrox a couple years back and Stevie Craigan mocked him by cocking an imaginary rifle at him. Pretty sure it's on YaChoob somewhere. Fucking risible behaviour, no matter the nationality. Bunch of fucking nonces these days anyway.
