Frankseven, looks like we'll both be doing a road trip, but I expected that, I can't imagine what could keep me away.
PURE SPECULATION, SORRY!

The Minneapolis dates are just speculation. They're not going to work with the dates I have been given by their management that are still being confirmed. As soon as I get word to put them up I will...

so what do we have so far for the tour? Is this info correct to be posting?? (if not, too bad, doing it anyway)

Ames 2.18.2005 (confirmed via venue website)
Madison 2.19.2005 (confirmed via venue website)
NYC 3.2.2005
NYC 3.3.2005

As far as Minneapolis venues and which one might the boys pick, I'd go with the Women's Club

So what are the chances for non-students to get tickets for the Iowa show? I want to go, but don't even live in the state. Will there be a pre-sale for fans?

By the way, who's going to open?

And don't forget to buy tickets for all your non-student Jayhawks board friends who don't want to chance tickets still being available on January 15. (hint hint...)

anyone besides me thinking about making
the mini road trip down to ames on 02-18
and to madison on 02-19 and back home
for the 02-20 and 02-21 shows?

an interesting exercise in navigation of our nations
highway system and tolerance for cheap food and
even cheaper beer.

damn the institution!

of course i know its just speculation at
this point but it never hurt to dream...

For all people interested in Ames show...

The policy for the M-Shop is that tickets are onsale to students only for about a week and then they are opened up to the public.

Before anyone asks me to buy tickets, I must say that they limit sales to two tickets per student during that week, and they do check the ID so I can't go back repeatedly that week. Also, while student tix are about $3 cheaper, if you don't have a student ID, you have to pay the $3 difference at the door.

M-Shop also no longer goes through Ticketmaster. You can read about how they do ticketing on the link provided by norma023 a few posts above.

I look forward to meeting whoever goes to the show.

THE M-SHOP? ALRIGHT!! ....ONE OF THE MOST AWESOME VENUES IN IOWA

They're gonna do the very FIRST show of the tour in Iowa, that's like way too freaking cool.....thanks you guys....man oh man.

This is where I first met Mystic Spiral. At a Jayhawks acoustic show back in 2002.

It was sweet. No smoking is allowed inside of there too, very intimate.....

I'll see you there Hicktopia and Mystic.

and National Joe, ya oughta go, you won't be sorry.....

This is less than a 2 hour drive for me.

If we are on that presale fan list that Sandy started, maybe getting tix any other way won't matter so much? (those of us that aren't students)

Holy Crap, it's on a Friday too! Usually us Iowa folk get the middle of the week shows (just generally speaking about all bands).......thanks to the management big time for respecting the fans in this state!
