some guy is facing a possible 11 years in jail for leaking some Ryan Adams tracks

Potentially 11 years!! For leaking 4 Jacksonville City Nights tracks before the release of the album... tad harsh me thinks...

If anyone thinks it is wrong, there's a petition to stop the nonsense: http://www.petitiononline.com/FREETBY/

If anyone thinks it's right, feel free to ignore the petition above...

Thanks.

Lost Highway should take some marketing lessons from the guys.

And they should stop wasting their time suing people, and get on with getting that Jayhawks Live album ready for release already!

Surely it wasn't any more criminal than Ryan Adams releasing the CD to the public. Lost Highway should be sued for foisting such crap on us!

Just sayin'

I really loved "29". But didn't like "JAcksonville City Lights" as much, for some reason.

I can't get into "29" the same way I can't get into "Love Is Hell"...

I haven't stopped listening to "Cold Roses" or "Jacksonville City Nights"...

I much MUCH prefer Jacksonville City Night and Cold Roses over 29... I absolutely love about 4 songs on 29, the other 5 I either really dislike or am indifferent about...

There is no excuse for the whole bolero "Girl You'll Be A Woman Soon" vibe on track 7 (whatever it's called).

I still stand by the controversial opinion that Love Is Hell is his best album! But Cold Roses and Heartbreaker aren't far behind. JCN (like Gold) is a good album, but not one my absolute Ryan favourites.
