Dr. House: King of irony

They've been broadcasting this tv series (House) for the last weeks over here and it's fantastic. I love it. Great script and great performance by Hugh Laurie, his dr. House is the definitive king of irony. He's full of memorable quotes. I don't watch much tv, but I can say that is definitely better than C.S.I. or E.R. Very, very recommended.

Oh dear!! I recommend vision therapy for you Cale!!! rent House on DVD and watch all episodes straight through. You will be cured of what ails you!!!!

I love that show too!!! I never miss it now. I didn't realize Hugh Laurie was English until I heard him accept his Golden Globe award. hehehehe

believe me there have been days I wish I could talk to patients the way he does.

...yeah the Brits onboard are gonna start yakkin' about Hugh Laurie's work on Blackadder, A Bit of Frye and Laurie, Jeeves and Wooster and guess what? They're right. He is brilliant!

Even the Aussies here are gonna rave about House. Great show. Love it every week I catch it.

Great show, and yes, Hugh Laurie is brilliant. I thought it an odd choice to make him American, he could just as easily be a British doctor as far as the plot goes. But it does give him an opportunity to show off his skill with accents. Best American accent I've ever heard from a non-native, better than many natives for that matter.

Watched it really paying attention yesterday night on Fox TV, and it looks like a great show! Will surely pay more attention to it from now on!

I'm really enjoying this show! Getting almost to the half of season one, and it's really great!

Glad you like it, Jony.
I missed the first chapters, but now I'm totally addicted (I think the first season is ending this week on Cuatro). It's definitely the best series of the last years (with Lost, that I missed last year when it was broadcasted, but I'm watching it now on dvd and I love it too)
