I'll consult thebowleggedbody before I decide as I am not a genius and my ears don't work properly, apparently.

The Dirty south was a good album, but personally, I always liked Southern Rock Opera better. I haven't been able to get into the truckers last couple albums as much. Not really sure why, I guess i'm just at a different point in my life now.

I agree, Jed.

I also think that Blessing and a Curse is better than the Dirty South. But I am probably wrong because I need somene to tell me what I think of music and it's affect on me. :p

I think A Blessing & A Curse is just as good as The Dirty South. It's tight and concise and features three of my favourite Trucker songs... Wednesday, Gravity's Gone and Aftermath USA. The only disappointment was that Isbell's songs weren't quite up the standards of his Dirty South contributions. (they're still good songs though).

I'm a big rap for A Blessing And A Curse, a bunch of great songs and it hangs together as an album like a pair of old Levis':)
