Awesome pics! I think I was standing behind you full of
"Camera Envy" because I just brought my compact little Elph which has shitty zoom and not many bells and whistles.

Thanks. It's a Canon S1 w/ 10x zoom. I'm still learning how to use it. This was the first time I tried taking pics with it at a show. A lot of the pics turned out blurry but I got a few good ones too.

I wanted to mug Cootner - man, he had some serious equipment! (er...cameras, that is :o ). Far too nice a fellow to mug, though. He was a busy man last night - I hope we get to see some of his work posted here as I reckon he got some crackers. Think he managed to capture the girls boogying on down in the encores too.

Nice. At 10x you will need some sort of tripod to cut down on the blur.

Yeah, the low light doesn't help either. The S1 does have image stablization (it's actually called S1 IS for this reason) which helps a little.

Brilliant stuff mike. Thank you. These are fantastic and if you can achieve this on the first try I think you just recomended a digital camera to a stack of people.A Canon S1 w/ 10x zoom. THE HECK YA SAY!;)
