Most of the shows go on sale Friday, a few on Thursday.

Look for 1 or 2 more shows to be added in the next week or so.

Can´t wait for the tour. From what I´ve heard from the upcoming album it sounds great, so let´s see if I can make to two or three shows in September.

interesting they are playing in Felton,CA. I've been in that town before and it's quite small. It is interesting that they picked this city/town to play in. Why not just play Santa Cruz or something?

But seeing these Southern CA dates look awesome as we are planning a trip down that way at that exact same time!!

Chief, are you in SoCal, or NoCal?

I've never heard of Felton before actually. Maybe there's a lot of fans there or something?

I'm in socal. Going to try to go to San Diego show also... it's a real nice venue and I have great memories of seeing Gary and Mark there.

How about you?

In live in Minn, so about 1500 miles from Calif. Haven't you been in Minny once before? I want to say we've met, but I could be mistaken.

Anyhow, our tentative plans are being in SoCal from July 21-27, and if plans go right we might be able to see Soul Asylum on the 21st at the Whisky, the Hawks on the 24th at Belly Up then maybe Dead and Co at Irving Meadows on the 26th (or the next night in Chula Vista)! :D
(then maybe the other usual touristy stuff)

Booking shows is a very complex process but there's one truism that pretty much supersedes anything else: it's very hard to play in a town when you don't get any offers from venues/promoters in that town. The Jayhawks would pretty much love to play anywhere they can get a decent offer.

I've been there a few times... but it's been a long time! we may have met but I can't recall, sorry.

SA is playing the whisky! how cool. I am thinking about going to that and possibly Jayhawks in SF too!

LA tickets went on sale today :)

The Jayhawks would draw well at this place. Might be worth looking into.
