Fantastic show last night. We were down front. The vocals were a tad low, but I think that was just because of the location.

"Tomorrow The Green Grass" was a nice surprise.

I've noticed that our there, too. We were just there for Los Lobos a few weeks ago with fantastic seats dead center, third row, but we were definitely in a audio "dead zone." I was at the soundboard for part of the show and the sound was in fantastic. In fact the Jayhawks sound guy said it was the best sound system he's ever heard at an outdoor venue.

A few random thoughts/notes from the caffeine-scrambled brain of a zombie:

-During Folk Uke's set, Marc played bass on "BJ To A DJ". Karen sang backing vocals on "I Still Miss Someone"
and "Motherf*cker Got F*cked Up".

-Folk Uke warned the crowd before they began their set, but I Kinda felt bad for the folks who had their kids
with them.

-After "BJ To A DJ", a couple dudes in the crowd yelled down to Folk Uke that they were DJs.:eek:

-The weather was PERFECT.

-Chet feels fully integrated into the band now. Sounded great.

-It didn't seem like the crowd was very familiar with the new material.

-Best version of "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me" that I've heard in YEARS. Maybe it was the crowd response, they
rose to their feet when the song began. Really like that Chet had a capo on the 5th fret of his acoustic and
was playing higher on the neck.

-Finally, my apologies to anyone whose view I blocked during "Ace". (Most of the crowd sat down after "Blue".)
I let my freak flag fly and was a crazy, dancing zombie. :p;)

O'Reagan and Perlman laid out a nice groove on that number.
Very underrated as a rhythm section.
