Awesome news!!!!

It only listed 4 people in the band/on the album.. I thought Kraig was involved and maybe one other person?

I wonder how many tracks will end up on the bonus disc?

Kraig was involved with the album but, as announced in December, he and the band have parted ways. He's working on a number of new projects involving Run Westy Run, Iffy and his own solo material. Guest performers on the new album include John Jackson (Jayhawks utility player), Mike Mills, Peter Buck, Scott McCaughey and Chloe Johnson (Buck's wife).

The tracklisting for the bonus disc was announced exclusively to PledgeMusic subscribers on December 5. There will be 9 tracks: 5 outtakes from the album sessions + 4 Gary Louris home demos.

Cool picture for the album cover. Where is that? Is there a story behind this? I surprised to see Rock Mount, VA on the tour list. Official headquarters of moonshining in Virginia. I checked out the Harvester and low and behold it is strong list of great performers who are rolling in and out this winter and spring. I will have to find a way to get down there!

So, I wonder how many folks know who Proust was, or, how to pronounce "Proust"? :D

Interesting cover -- retro airport meets space odyssey thing going on there.

Thanks for the replies. I must have missed the dec. update so I went back and checked it out.

I too wonder about the story behind the title. The album cover is pretty cool!

Also, I wonder in which capacity Kraig was involved in the album since it doesn't seem like he played on it, which I was hoping for.

Looks like a free download to tide us over until April.
