If so, then this is cool:
Ethan has now started his bootleg site:
Pretty cool stuff where he is releasing bootlegs of all his stuff and there are some cool writings about it.
Bought a disc of Russian Wilds demos yesterday that are very cool. Phantom In The Valley as an acoustic demo is pretty awesome

I've got a couple CDs but rarely listen. I should give it another try, sink my teeth into it

Do you have The Russian Wilds? Listen to that one!

This was good, thanks for reminding me I had it. In fact, I ended up sharing a sample of the first track of the 2nd album with my Google+ music circle so hopefully a fan or two gained that way
I don't think they sound particularly Deep Purple-ish but I could certainly hear elements of Ian Gillan and Glenn Hughes in the singing

Why the DP comparison? Are they the band that everything you listen to has to stand up against? I've seen them likened to Humble Pie, which is ungrounded, but I guess it's some raspy voice kind of thing that has gotten some reviewers going.

No, I was saying the singing - especially on Self Made Man- made me think of a mix of two DP singers in style, though the music doesn't sound anything like that at all.

Per was getting mighty pissed off at the Purple mention ha ha.
I am currently listening to Magnificent Friend and enjoying it a lot. Been a while.

No, just curious because I didn't hear that myself. Then again I haven't heard much Deep Purple. Now if Status Quo or the Corrs had been mentioned...

I can hear all sorts of 70's "classic rock" influences all over their albums myself. Enjoyable hokum all the same.

Anyone have the new album yet? I haven't got it yet but am really looking forward to it!
