HORRIBLE news.

:(

39 years old?! F**K! Wayyyyy too young.

Guess I'm going to be listening to "What Comes After The Blues" tonight,
specifically "Leave The City"...

It may mean I'm insensitive, but the article makes it sound like he did it to himself, so I don't have too much sympathy.

He surely knew what he was doing to his body for years would lead to an early demise, but that obviously didn't stop him. Abuse your body wantonly and - unless your name is Keith Richards - you're going to face major consequences sooner rather than later. It's not rocket surgery.

I say all of this as an alcohol enthusiast myself. Alcohol is a great drug, but if you can't use it in moderation, you should learn your lesson early and stay off the damned sauce altogether.

Sure, anyone who followed the story probably knew it was heading to this and what you say has merit to it, Axe-o-meter, but still...it's pretty fucking sad all in all.

I'm still trying to figure out what Axe meant by 'rocket surgery'.

It's (whisper it) professorial comedy. A narrow and quite unsuccessful genre.

The Prof slums it in Urban Dictionary land.

The disturbance in the force shall be felt for years and may cause irreparable damage.:)
