Has anyone heard this yet? (Its on spinner.com if you want to take a quick listen.) I'm not really a MMJ fan, but thought I would give it a try. Can't say I think its too good. Is he singing through some machine? Sounds like some type of "lite-FM." I know several people here have said how good MMJ is live -- I must be missing something!

I heard some of this on the radio here last night but I must say it went over my head and didn't leave much of an impression.

Jim loves his reverb. I think they're great, but I'm also a big MMJ fan.

I think these Harrison covers are great but I respect your opinion on not loving the reverb. I on the other hand can't get enough. These covers were recorded after Harrison's death I believe and have a few years on them. The tunes are purely a Jim James (or Yim Yames) whim and are lo-fi and quite sparse. Whether you like the tunes or not I do not think they reflect the band My Morning Jacket as a whole. As a disclaimer I am a huge MMJ fan and think they are the best live band in the world.
