Well it did not take very long and some fantastic taper has posted the Jayhawks show from the Basilica on Dime A Dozen. It would be great if a DVD of the show surfaces too. Maybe someone got in a video camera and filmed the show if we are lucky

Here's the link

The first track on that is nothing but some jerk off talking shite from the stage. The show starts on track two. Thanks for the link though.

LOL. That's true. I enjoyed hearing it because that is the "legendary" Twin Cities DJ Brian Oake. He's currently on Cities 97, but I remember him from his days on Rev105 when I was living in Minnesota. Rev105 was an independent alternative rock station that I listened to all the time. The DJ's were smart and were allowed to (for the most part) pick the programming. The loss of Rev105 was a hard one. It happened the last year I was living in Minnesota. The only remaining cool station in the Twin Cities was Radio K 440AM run from the U of M campus and you couldn't get it everywhere. These days the radio landscape is a bit different up there. I tend to listen to Cities 97, but really there is only so much Dave Matthews Band and Counting Crowes I can put up with.

I snagged it along with Dylan's first show last week, and a Steve Miller show from 1972--BEFORE all hell broke loose for Steve and Miles Davis called him Satan...

Given the "buzz" about the show, I would imagine it will show up soon on some blog. It's an outstanding recording.
